Guest blog post: What it is like to be a PR student, inspirations and tips

A few weeks ago, I was asked by Sarah at PRCareers to write a guest blog post for PRCareers.co.uk. A post on what it is like to be a PR student. But what is it like to be a PR student?? I found this really interesting to write. Things have changed so much in one year – I’m a completely different person! I loved thinking about who my inspiration was and reflecting on my journey so far. Anyway, enough of my womblings! I’ve attached the article below (also see my mini moment of fame here). #ThursdayThought on Social Media with Chris Owen

‘Be humble but most importantly be YOU’ says Chris Owen who kindly took part in my #ThursdayThought series this week. Chris is Director of Tech & Innovation at the global M&C Saatchi PR. Time for something new: A new exciting blog series is on its way!

This month has been ‘one of those months’. Full of plenty of ups and downs. I’m not going to go into it, it just has. I love my blog and writing about what is on my mind, I really do. But this month has just been ‘the month’ where I’ve struggled to come up with content. Maybe I should rephrase that to ‘being inspired’ and liking my content. It takes me ages to decide on an idea – I think that I am so critical of my own ideas and whether people will like them or not. Even my 1 am brainstorming…
