January: It’s time to go back to it all

January. I always dislike going back to school or University after Christmas and New Year. Both days are over so quickly and before you know it, it is back to the land of education for exams and coursework. What a way to start the year eh?! But the deadlines are here and here I am typing away trying to get it all finished. Luckily for you, this blog is not a ‘New Year, New Me’ post. I prefer to set myself goals for the New Year rather than a resolution to eat less chocolate which will be broken and forgotten about…

2016 – it’s a wrap folks

Finally home for the Christmas break. Anyone who lives away will know the feeling of relief and happiness when you finally can go home for the holidays. After a really long and hectic semester, I could not be happier to be home. I’ve loved being able to spend time with my family and being back in the country. I apologise in advance for the lack of creativity in this post. Christmas deadlines are here and semester one is almost over…how?!  It’s been an absolutely crazy semester with lots of ups and downs (..!) but it only seems like yesterday that I started second year. Now I’m almost halfway through..where has the time gone? I always knew that second year was going to be a big leap…I just didn’t anticipate the leap being so huge. The first few weeks everyone is enjoying being back together until the third-week hits alongside with three assignment briefs. Unfortunately, priorities change. It’s not first…

Show fixing – X factor, I’m a Celeb and now The Apprentice. Are we just naive?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Yes, I’m back on the TV show topic. We love reality TV shows. Time for us to sit on our sofa (in the case of X Factor and I’m a Celeb) and decide the fate of others on TV. We are given the ability to control the way that the programmes operate or at least seek entertainment through others. But in the few past weeks, we’ve been hit with allegations of fixing behind I’m a Celebrity, The X Factor and The Apprentice. Three of the biggest shows in the U.K. Calendar. Within a short space…
