Placement diaries: building a future

So here we are, finally another placement update. There won’t be many more of these because I finish this amazing experience next month. Sorry what?! I have very little time left until I have to leave this life and I’m not sure if I’m ready to accept that quite yet. This year really has flown by. It’s crazy to see the difference in myself from just one year, I was a completely different person. I didn’t know what to expect from my first ‘proper job’, let alone a job at L’Oréal. The thought of working at such a beauty powerhouse excited me but at the same time it scared the life out of me. Spending one year on placement has been a crazy mix of emotions but it has been the best year of my life. I’ve grown so much in myself, learnt an incredible amount and I’m so proud of where I am. I feel so comfortable with this aspect of life, the 9-5 day to day, beauty PR, London life you name it but as hard as it is to accept, I do have a degree to finish off. Taking it back to the start / in-house vs. agency With so little time left, I’ve been reflecting on the first few weeks of my placement.
